General

The Breckland Architectural Joinery Company Ltd, or BAJCO, as it is better known is based in Brandon, Suffolk. The company is proud of its traditions, the long-standing association with many of its customers and its ability to provide services across a very wide spectrum of markets of joinery products.

In supporting customer’s varying needs, Bajco has developed a core set of competences which centre on a technical / project management ability, underpinned by key craft skills, all essential to the success of any such enterprise. The company can offer a full project management service or any such elements as desired, consisting of quotations, site surveys, CAD drawings, manufacture, delivery, installation, cost reduction exercises, original design, consultancy etc.

Bajco’s location, with a good transport infra-structure, has allowed it to gain a wide reputation, winning major contracts in London and many other large cities and locations within the UK, on a regular basis. Product quality, speed to the market place, flexibility and its competent and friendly staff have been the major factors in the company’s growth.

Bajco maintains close relationships with its suppliers and only deals with leading timber merchants to guarantee material is of the highest quality and cropped from sustainable resources. Care is taken to ensure that the timber used within Bajco’s products is correctly prepared (i.e. dried, cut and graded) and where necessary stress relieved prior to manufacture, to minimise any subsequent movement in a living and active material whose beauty and uniqueness lies in its varying grains, textures and colours. Within the manufacturing processes, Bajco insists on the traditional methods of construction, which have been tried and tested over the generations.
